The department of electronics and communication engineering is a critical hub for study and advancement of electronics and communication system. Electronics and communication engineering department was started during 1983-84 with intake of 40 students, then the strength ascended to 60 students. The department is enriched with highly qualified, knowledgeable and experienced teaching faculty. The department has well-equipped laboratories with highly skilled instructors

The department has MOU with well-known industries and has excellent industry institute interaction. Many of our alumni are employed in Intel, L&T, ABB, Yokogawa, Bluestar, schneider. On par with academics, we are conducting personality development classes, placement training and short turn courses by recognized organizations. Students in the final year will undergo internship at various industries which enhances their skills and opportunities for placement. Curriculum consists of technical as well as management subjects.

Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

PSO1 Design and simulate basic electronic circuits and make use of the measuring instruments in the design of analog and digital circuits
PSO2 Apply principles of mathematics, signals and communication theory to analyze different types of signals and operations on signals.

PSO1 Demonstrate, Update and adapt domain knowledge in the area of electronics and communication engineering and the allied fields to propose solutions for the core industry in the ever-changing global enterprise with ethical practices.
